Applications for the 2024 NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Scholarship are now open for qualified Nigerians currently studying in Nigerian tertiary universities.

The NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Scholarship offers eligible Nigerian tertiary education students a N200,000 annual grant. Selected students will be funded from the period of selection to the final year of study in their current universities.

NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Scholarship Details:

The NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Joint Venture in pursuance of its Corporate Social Responsibility invites suitably qualified applicants for its 2022 Tertiary NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Scholarship Scholarship Scheme, effective May 27 to June 30, 2024.. 

Category of Awards

  • Host/Transit Communities Merit Award – For applicants strictly from NAOC Host/Transit Communities
  • National Merit Award – For applicants from Non-Host/Transit communities


NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Scholarship Requirements:

To be considered for the NNPC/NAOC/OANDO JV Scholarship, you must:

  • Be registered Full TIME undergraduates in Nigerian Tertiary Institutions
  • Be certified 100 level students at the time of application (Only students admitted in 2023/2024 academic session)

NOTE: The following categories of students should not apply:

  • Current beneficiaries of similar Awards from other Companies and Agencies
  • Dependents of NAOC/NAE/AENR/NACPFA
  • Only Indigenes of NAOC Host/Transit Communities in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta and Imo States SHOULD apply for the Host Communities Merit Award.
  • Only applicants studying Engineering, Geology, Geosciences and Agricultural Science are eligible for the National Merit Award.

 

NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Scholarship Duration and Reward

  • The NNPC OANDO Scholarship offers an annual N200,000 award to selected  tertiary institution students throughout the period of study

 

Required Documents for NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Scholarship

To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;

  • Passport photograph with white background not more than 3 months old (450px by 450px not more than 200kb)
  • School ID Card
  • O’level Certificate
  • Admission Letter
  • Birth Certificate
  • Proof of Local Government Area of Origin
  • Letter from Community Paramount Ruler (Only Applicants for Host Communities Merit Award)
  • Letter from CDC Chairman (Only Applicants for Host Communities Merit Award).

How To Apply for NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Scholarship 2024 (Step-by-Step)

To apply for the NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Scholarship, interested and qualified applicants should do the following;

 

  • Click on the button below to visit the scholarship webpage
  • On the top right corner of the page, click on “Apply Now” tab. 
  • Click on “Register Now” to create an account. 
  • Proceed to your email box to activate your account 
  • Enter your personal information, National Identification Number, educational information, other information and upload required scanned documents. 
  • Ensure the name used in applications matches the names on all documentation in same order. Upload a sworn affidavit or certificate if otherwise. 
  • Ensure you view all documents after uploading, to ensure that they are clear and accurate. 
  • When asked to upload photo, upload a passport photograph with a white background. 
  • Recheck application information to avoid errors 
  • Click “Apply Now” to submit information 
  • You will receive an email and a SMS that confirms your application was successful. 
  • Return to https://candidate.scholastica.ng/, enter your Email and Password to download your profile and proceed to have your Head of Department sign the document. 
  • Upload a scanned copy of the signed profile, this would be used for verification.
