OAU STUDENTS HAVE SHUT THE CAMPUS GATES OVER THE INCREMENTS OF SCHOOL FEES (DETAILS)

Students of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) have staged a peaceful protest over the recent increase in school fees, blocking vehicular movement by closing the institution’s main gate.

OAU management announced new increased school fees on September 14, 2023.

The recent increase in tuition fees has led to negotiations between the student body and the university administration, with the students calling for a significant decrease in fees.
