Lead City University has achieved a full accreditation to offer Radiography in a postgraduate course.
This was revealed on the verified Facebook page of the institution today Tuesday 2nd of April,2024. At was an exciting moment for the institution as it sets the record of the First Private University in South West Nigeria to achieve full accreditation by the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
As it sets the record of being the first university in South West Nigeria to start Postgraduate programmes in Radiography, and also first private university in the entire country to commence postgraduate programmes in Radiography.
The Department of Radiography and Radiation Sciences, Faculty of Basic Medical and Health Sciences is proud to announce the commencement of Postgraduate programmes in Radiography with the following specialisations:
– Medical Imaging
– Film reporting & Radiological anatomy
– Radiological education
– Medical Physics and
– Radiation and Environmental Protection
– Radiological Health Management.
Holders of a good first degree in Radiography from a recognised university, and holders of a postgraduate diploma of the Institute of Radiography may apply for the Master’s programme while Graduates of Anatomy, Physiology, Physics or Engineering may apply for the Postgraduate Diploma.
