2024 IDU SCHOLARSHIP IN WASHINGTON USA
IBADAN DESCENDANTS’ UNION OF GREATER WASHINGTON USA invites applications for the Year 2024 Scholarship Program from qualified Ibadan indigenes who are currently attending any of Nigerian Colleges and Universities. The award will be paid directly to the school on behalf of the student. Prospective candidates must meet the following criteria:
Candidate must be in good standing both academically and morally.
The criteria for good standing are those set by the institution the candidate is attending
**Candidate must provide evidence of need. ***
REQUIREMENTS
The following information should be provided:
1. Full Name (Surname, First, Middle)
2. Family house / compound Address and local government area.
3. Current Institution of Higher Education Name and full address.
4. Level or year at institution.
5. Year admitted and estimated year of graduation.
6. Email address
7. Recent passport size photograph.
8. Letter of recommendation from the head of your department or faculty dean.
9. A copy of your official school transcript showing a minimum of 3.25 Cumulative GPA
10. A brief paragraph stating the reasons you should be selected for this scholarship award, your field of studies or major, and how it will benefit the society.
DO NOT send certificates or recognition awards you received or your membership in civic organizations.
Application must be received between 12:00AM on July 1, 2024 and 11:59PM on July 31, 2024 (NIGERIAN TIME PLEASE.)
Applications received outside this specific time period will NOT be considered.
Only successful candidates will be contacted. The IDU selection committee will make final decisions and successful candidates will be contacted accordingly. IDU is not responsible for lost, undelivered, or misdirected mail.
