1.0 PREAMBLE
Applicaons are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Lagos State University School of Basic and Advanced Studies
[JUPEB Programme] which shall commence in June 2024.
The Programme shall run for one Academic Session beginning from September 2024 to August 2025. It is an intensive programme to prepare exceponally brilliant candidates for admission into the 200 level degree programmes offered by JUPEB AFFILIATED
UNIVERSITIES. The Programme is located at the Lagos State University School of Basic and Advanced Studies Campus, ASCON Road, Topo, Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria.
2.0 ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
(a) Five (5) Ordinary Level Credits to include English Language.
For candidates who intend to study courses in Medicine/ Denstry/ Nursing/ Pharmacology, Agricultural Science, Science, Educaon, Social Sciences, Management Sciences and Engineering, a credit pass in Mathemacs is compulsory.
(b) Students who meet the admission requirements will be invited for a wrien qualifying examinaon.
(c) Students invited for qualifying examinaon should come along with the following items;
I. Naonal Idenficaon Number (NIN) Slip ii. Birth Certificate.
i. O’ Level Result iv. One Passport Photograph
v. Arrangement of Names on NIN, Birth Cerficate, O’ Level Result must be the same.
vi. Awaing result is not accepted
(d) Successful candidates will be required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of Thirty Thousand Naira only
(N30,000.00). The available

3.0 CRITERIA FOR TRANSITING TO 200 LEVEL
The course allocated will be determined by the level of performance. Students will sit for JUPEB Examinaon at the end of course and will be able to transit to 200 Level into any of the JUPEB Affiliated Universies.
(a) Successful candidates that will be enrolled in the degree programmes at the 200 level must purchase the Direct Entry
JAMB form.
(b) Students who failed may be allowed to repeat the programme, however they will have to pay all necessary fees.
(c) On admission, if any student voluntarily withdraws from the Programme, request for refund of school fee will NOT be entertained.
4.0 METHOD OF APPLICATION
4.1 ONLINE PAYMENT
Applicants are required to make the payment of Thirty Thousand Naira (N30,000.00) only, non-refundable fee via website: http://www.lasu.edu.ng/foundaon
5.0 CLOSING DATE
The closing date for the applicaon form is Friday, 13th
September 2024.
6.0 DATE FOR THE QUALIFYING EXAMINATION
The Qualifying Examinaon for admission into the Programme holds on Saturday, 14th September 2024 by
11:00am at the LASUSBAS Locaon Topo Road, Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria.
7.0 COMMENCEMENT OF LECTURES
Lectures start immediately aer admission is offered.
8.0 GENERAL INFORMATION
The University has hostel accommodaon together with transportaon. Allocaon of the available spaces would be on first-come-first- serve basis.
