The senate council, University of Ilorin has today inaugurated Electoral Commission over their next Students’ Union Election.
The Abdulazeez AbdulAkeem Opeyemi (Upsylee)’s led senate at the #5thOrdinarySitting inaugurated and swore in electoral commissioners from 16 faculties of the University ahead of the institution’s general election.
After the oath of office was administered to the commissioners by the Deputy Senate President, Senator Hammed Dauda (HOD), the house proceeded to conducting elections to elect the Chairman, Secretary and PRO of the commission.
Upon completion of the in-house elections by the Commissioners, Commisioner Tijani Zaynudeen of Life Sciences was elected as the UISEC CHAIRMAN, and Commisioner Ukaegbu Joshua of Clinical Sciences was elected as the Commission’s Secretary while Ajilogba Abdulhameed Adewale of Faculty of Law was elected as the PRO of the commission.
Commisioner Tijani Zaynudeen of Faculty of Life Science won against Commissioner Abdulsalam AlAmeen of Faculty of Agriculture

Also, Commisioner Ukaegbu Joshua of Faculty of Clinical Sciences won against Commisioner Olayanju Teslim of Faculty of Management Science
And finally, Commisioner Ajilogba Abdulhameed Adewale of Faculty of Law won against Commisioner Ibrahim Abubakar of Faculty of Physical Sciences.
