FULOKOJA RELEASES POST UTME/DE ADMISSION FORM FOR 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

This is to request all applicants (UTME and DE) who applied through JAMB for admissions into Federal University Lokoja (FUL) for the 2024/2025 Academic Session and either selected FUL as their 1st Choice or are willing to change their institution to make FUL their first choice, that the Post-UTME Screening Portal will open from Monday, September 2 and close on Sunday, October 2, 2024.

 

ELIGIBILITY FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE

 

To be eligible for the screening exercise, UTME candidates must score at least 160 in the 2024 UTME, while a DE candidate must have applied through JAMB.

 

ONLINE SCREENING EXERCISE – POST-UTME POINT-BASED SYSTEM (PBS)

 

In light of the current national challenges, such as fuel scarcity, accommodation and logistics hurdles, increased transportation costs and security issues, the University Management has decided to adopt the Point-Based System for the 2024/2025 admissions screening exercise.

 

Consequently, all applicants (UTME & DE) are required to carefully read the instructions and follow the steps below in completing their screening exercise:

1. Upload your O’level result(s) on the JAMB portal before visiting the University Post-UTME Portal. Candidates with awaiting result(s) may commence the online registration but would not be able to participate in the screening until the O’level result is uploaded.

 

2. Applicants must have a valid personal e-mail address before commencing the screening process.

 

3. Visit: www.fulokoja.edu.ng. Click on Admissions – Undergraduate – Post-UTME Portal and log in with your valid 2024 JAMB Registration number to confirm eligibility.

 

a) BIODATA PAGE

 

Once eligible, click on Biodata and update your personal information. DE applicants are to update their previous academic records as requested.

 

b) PAYMENT PAGE:

 

Generate your RRR [Remita Retrieval Reference] payment invoice of ₦2,000.00 (Post-UTME Screening Charges) using REMITA services (ATM card or bank payment). Click on the “Pay Now” button to process your payment.

 

c) SCREENING PAGE

 

i. Choose your most preferred Programme from the drop-down list of courses offered.

 

ii. Select the 5 O’level subjects that match your choice of Programme and submit.

iii. Proceed to upload your O’level Examination details for verification.

 

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

 

i. Only applicants who choose FUL as their 1st choice and participated in the Post-UTME Screening Exercise would be considered for admission in the 2024/2025 Academic Session.

 

ii. Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) O’ level credits in subjects relevant to their desired course of study. These credits should be obtained in not more than two (2) sittings, except for Programmes in the College of Health Sciences, where applicants are required to have at least five (5) credit passes in WAEC/NECO in the relevant subjects, achieved in one sitting.

 

Additionally, a credit in English Language is compulsory for admission into all courses at the Federal University Lokoja. For a detailed O’level, UTME, and DE requirements for courses offered at FUL, please visit the University website: (CLICK HERE TO APPLY).

 

iii. Only applicants who uploaded their O’level result(s) on their JAMB e-Facility would participate in the screening exercise and be eligible for admission. Please note that uploading O’level results on the JAMB e-Facility can only be done successfully at the JAMB Office or any JAMB Accredited CBT Centre.

IMPORTANT NOTICE !!!

 

i. A successful screening exercise does not guarantee admission into Federal University Lokoja. The Central Admissions Committee of the University would still apply other admission modalities in considering your application.

 

ii. Any anomaly, falsehood or withholding of required information detected with respect to your application at any stage, will lead to automatic disqualification of admission, and any fees paid will not be refunded.

 

iii. Applicants are expected to adhere strictly to the instructions above.
