The management of Federal University of Akure has issued a warning to all the aspirants to beware of fraudsters taking their money in the promise of exchange of admission process.
In a statement which was signed by the registrar, “It has come to the notice of the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) that some persons , who are obviously fraudsters and impostors , are demanding money from some unwary members of the public in relation to the ongoing admission process.”
“Candidates , Parents and Guardians and the general public are strongly advised not to pay any money to any individual or group of individuals for the purpose of checking results , uploading results or influencing the process in anyway whatsoever.”
“Admission is strictly merit driven and cannot be influenced in any way or form.”
