The Management of Kwara State University has commended Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for the bold and timely decision to convert the Ilorin General Hospital to the Kwara State University Teaching Hospital.

The commendation is coming on the heels of the recent announcement by the Kwara State Government of the conversion to enhance the medical programmes of Kwara State University.

The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, who conveyed the commendation and appreciation of the institution noted that the approval was timely as the University’s MBBS programme was already in its second year, adding that there was adequate time to process the conversion ahead of the commencement of the medical students’ clinical training.
