In an effort to curb truancy amongst corps members in the course of the service year as well as ensuring transparency in the activities of Local Government Inspectors (LGIS), the Director General has approved the commencement of weekly Community Development Service (CDS) biometric attendance. This will begin in 6 states which are FCT, Lagos, Kogi, Cross River, Sokoto and Rivers.
