UNILORIN TO CONSTRUCT TRAM TRANSIT SYSTEM

In a big step towards solving transportation challenges at the University of Ilorin, the University of Ilorin has signed a memorandum of agreement with the Intramodal System Consortium Limited to construct a tram transit system for the institution.

 

Representing the university, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Wahab Egbewole, SAN, and Registrar, Mr. Mansur Alfanla, formally signed the memorandum of agreement.

 

Meanwhile, Chief Adekunle Oyinloye, the CEO of Intramodal System Consortium Limited, and Prince Nelson Oladimeji, the Director, signed on behalf of the company.

 

The planned tram system will interconnect various parts of the campus, significantly enhancing the ease of mobility for both students and staff.

Professor Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, expressed enthusiasm regarding the company’s capability to meet project expectations.
