The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has set its general JAMB cut-off mark for the 2025/2026 admission session at 150. This is the minimum score a candidate must have in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to be eligible for the university’s Post-UTME screening.
UNIPORT Departmental Cut-Off Mark
The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has not officially released its departmental cut-off marks for the 2025/2026 session. Based on past trends, the general JAMB cut-off mark is 160, and the departmental cut-off mark is expected to remain 160. Some departmental cut-off marks are often higher than the general cut-off mark to determine final admission decisions and vary by course based on factors like program demand and previous admission data.

Note: Some competitive courses like Law, Medicine, Nursing, Engineering, and Science Lab tech do require a departmental cut-off mark of 200 and above. As such, it is important to aim for a higher cut-off mark when applying for these competitive courses.
Post-UTME Eligibility and Requirements
To be eligible for the UNIPORT Post-UTME screening exercise, you must meet the following criteria:
- Choose the University of Port Harcourt as your first choice institution during JAMB registration.
- Score a minimum of 150 in the 2025 UTME.
- Have at least five O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
