INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY: OLORI OLOWU OF OWU-KUTA HONORED AWARD AS “MOST INFLUENTIAL OLORI”
International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women which marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. It is a time to recognize the progress made towards gender equality and to reflect on the challenges that still exist. The day is celebrated worldwide with various events, marches, conferences, panel discussions, and other activities aimed at promoting women’s rights and empowerment.
Earlier today, Her Royal Highness
Olori Oluwaseyi Abebi Oyelude MAKAMA was honored with a recognition award as the “Most Influential Olori” by Daar Communications, Owner of RayPower/ AIT Osogbo Osun State. It was her pleasure to received the award during a live program on air at RayPower 95.1 FM Osogbo in celebration of International women’s day, recognizing her outstanding humanitarian work, commitment and dedication to the advancement and well-being of the children, youth and women in the community.
