LASU ANNOUNCES COMMENCEMENT OF ONLINE CENTRAL ADMISSIONS CLEARANCE (LACACA) FOR NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENTS FOR 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

Admitted candidates to Lagos State University for the 2024/2025 academic session are expected to participate in the online admissions clearance exercise through the LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA). Successful candidates, at the end of the LACACA operation, will be assigned matriculation numbers, while unsuccessful candidates will be considered to have forfeited their offer of provisional admission.

The LACACA operation is a product of LASU Consult Limited; therefore, all participating and admitted candidates in the 2024/2025 academic session must pay the required clearance fee through the LASU e-payment portal.

*Candidates are required to have made payments for acceptance, medical, and clearance fees before commencing the online clearance.*

*PROCEDURE FOR PAYMENT OF LACACA CLEARANCE FEES*

I. Visit lasu.edu.ng/consult II. Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the field labeled “Matriculation Number/Application Number.” III. Provide a valid email address and phone number. IV. Click Continue.

 

*STEP-BY-STEP APPROACH TO COMPLETE THE LACACA OPERATION*

i. Visit the LASU Website https://www.lasu.edu.ng

ii. Hover over the STUDENT tab and click on UG LACACA.

iii. Enter your UTME registration number and surname, then click Submit.

*Candidates are expected to complete the following on the dashboard:*

(a) Validate your basic bio-data details.

(b) Verify your disability status.

(c) Upload O’Level scratch card details.

(d) Upload your original birth certificate.

(e) Upload your original UTME results.

(f) Upload your original JAMB admission letter.

(g) Upload your scanned signature.

(11) submit the application by checking the “I Agree” text box, then click Submit.

iv. At this stage, the admission clearance progresses to 20%, and the documents will be submitted for further scrutiny by dedicated university officials.

v. Candidates should check the progress of their admission clearance, as necessary attention may be required based on the uploaded documents.

vi. Candidates with errors requiring correction will need to pay for such corrections on the LASU payment portal https://www.lasu.edu.ng/epayment

vii. Upon reaching 100% clearance progress, successful candidates will be able to print the LASU Admission Clearance Certificate for the 2024/2025 academic session and will be assigned a matriculation number.

*Note:* The online clearance will commence on Friday, September 27 2024. Rejected students are advised to check their portal and note the reasons for rejection. Some may need to visit the Admission Office on the 3rd Floor of the Senate Building, LASU main campus, Ojo, for further guidance.
