Top Lagos Real Estate Chiefs storm Unilorin for AESA Leadership and Entrepreneurship Summit
In its constant drive to create a difference and value in the student community, the leadership of the Arts Education Students’ Association(AESA) of the University of Ilorin has concluded plans to host a One day leadership and Entrepreneurship summit.
Scheduled to hold on Saturday, 13th of May, the summit, according to the organiser will avail participants an opportunity to learn the emerging values and trends in leadership and Entrepreneurship.
Speaking ahead of the programme, AESA President, Comrade Awolaja Olaoluwa Smith noted that the summit represents one of the cardinal points of his administration in creating opportunities for students.
Awolaja revealed that participants will have the privilege to interact with the resource persons on how they were able to carve a niche for themselves in an apparently difficult economic environment.
The resource persons for the summit are the founder and co-founder of Dukiya Investment, Lukman Shobowale and Bayo Lawal.
“It’s our pleasure to have these top Real Estate Chiefs who have travelled far and wide attracted down to the University of Ilorin. I believe the participants will learn a lot from their wealth of experience in entrepreneurship and leadership.
“Our administration is keen to connect the students community with real time opportuinities and it’s upon this background that we have facilitated this programme”
While emphasizing that the summit is open to all students and youths within and outside the University community, the students’ leader also revealed that a grant will be up for grab for entrepreneurs at the event.
“The most interesting part of this programme is business grant worth one million naira will be up for grab for entrepreneurs who will have their business pitch vetted and screened by experts.
While also calling all the students to take advantage of initiative, he noted his administration will not relent on its oars in the drive to entrench a 21st century-inclined system for the benefits of all.
Awolaja however thanked the school authority for providing an enabling environment for such a programme to thrive.
He added that programme is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 13th of May, 2023 at exactly 11:00am at Faculty of Education, University of Ilorin.
All participants are to fill below Google form for the 1million grant, only registered brand will be eligible for the 1million grant.
