UNIVERSITY OF MAIDUGURI (Office of the Registrar) 2024/2025 PRE-AISCREENING EXERCISE (UTME& DE)
This is inform all candidates who applied for admission into University cMaiduguri (UNIMAID) for 2024/2025 academic session that the Post U1Screening Exercise will commence on Monday 19th August, 2024 and wmidnight of Sunday 20th September, 2024.
Candidates are advised to visit the website putme.unimaid.edu.ng for dithe procedure for online registration, and requirements, for the screenin!Procedure for payments and other general information. Candidates are·non-refundable fee of TWO THOUSAND NAIRA (Two Thousand Naira) OTHROUGH REMITA PLATFORM.
ELIGIBILITY
1.only UTME and DE candidates who selected University of Maiduguri a:choice during 2024 JAMB are eligible for the screening exercise. UTMEcandidates must have minimum score of 140 except those courses forhigher cut-off marks have been indicated on the University Website.
Candidate must meet the minimum UTME scores for their chosen courshave the right UTME subject combinations as prescribed in the 2024 JABrochure.
iv. Candidates who do not meet any of the above requirements will be al
change to another course whose requirements they meet.
V.All candidates must possess a minimum of 5 O’Level credits in subjecto their proposed courses, including Mathematics and English Languagmore than two sittings. In addition, Direct Entry candidates must possesminimum of lower credits at National and/or Higher National Diploma IeMerit at NCE level.
Only O’level result print-out(s) downloaded directly from the website of tNational Examining bodies (WASC/NECO/NABTEB) or photocopies of ocertificate(s) will be accepted at verification.
CANDIDATES ARE TO ENSURE THAT THEIR O’LEVEL RESULTS ARE UPLTHE JAMB CAPS PROFILE WEBSITE.
