FUTA RELEASES ADMISSION FORM INTO NEWLY APPROVED UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMMES

The Federal University of Technology has released an application form for the newly approved courses for the 2023/24 academic session.

 

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following recently approved Departments in the School of Logistics and Innovation Technology for the 2023/2024 Academic Session:

 

DEPT./PROGRAMME

 

1. B.Tech. in Securities and Investments Management Technology

 

SSCE SUBJECTS

Five SSCE credit passes or its equivalent at a maximum of two (2) sittings in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any one (1) subject from Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Agricultural Science, and one (1) other subject from Accounting, Geography and Government.

 

UTME SUBJECTS

English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any one (1) subject from Physics, Chemistry, Accounting, Geography and Government.

 

2. B.Tech. in Business Information Technology

 

SSCE SUBJECTS

Five SSCE credit passes or its equivalent at a maximum of two (2) sittings in the following subjects: English Language and Mathematics, two (2) subjects from Geography, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science, Food and Nutrition, Physics and any one (1) subject from Economics, Business Methods, Commerce, Accounting, Book keeping, Government and Home Economics.

 

UTME SUBJECTS

English Language, Mathematics, Economics and one of Geography, Chemistry, Accounting, Government and Physics.

 

ELIGIBILITY

Candidates who scored a minimum of 180 marks in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) are eligible irrespective of their most preferred choice institution. Candidates who have been offered admission in any other institution and have accepted need NOT apply.

 

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Candidates are required to:

(a) change their institutions of choice to FUTA (if they have not done so)

(b) ensure eligibility for Post-UTME by:

i. checking the University’s website (www.futa.edu.ng) for the admission requirements and mode of payment for the application;

ii. completing and submitting the University Post-UTME Application Form online; and

iii. Submitting their O’ level results online.

 

CLOSING DATE

The closing date for payment, completion and submission of the application form online is Monday, February, 5 2024.
